From our historic train and beautiful park to a lively neighborhood pool and our own sports league, Grant Beach is full of things to enjoy. We’re home to two schools, great local businesses, and inspiring non-profits—all surrounded by charming historic homes. Just a short walk to Commercial Street and minutes from downtown, Grant Beach blends neighborhood warmth with city convenience.
GBNA Youth Sports League
The GBNA was recognized by Mayor Jeff Schrag this spring and the city of springfield officially set May 10th as Neighborhood Youth Sports Day GBNA’s youth sports league has been in place almost 20 years and is the only neighborhood run sports league. low cost, low barrier serving hundreds of kids each year. Community Resources
Are you experiencing problems in your neighborhood? Or do you just need help finding information? Civic resources can be difficult and confusing to navigate. Luckily, volunteers in Springfield neighborhoods have launched SGF Neighborhood Tools to help neighbors throughout the city.
Do you ever feel like you spend all of your time searching for the tools that you need? You know resources exist, you just can’t find them when you need them? Neighborhood leaders and residents shouldn’t have to spend all of their time searching for online resources. That’s what SGF Neighborhood Tools is here for.
